Fresh from their US tour, acclaimed Indigenous vocalist Emma Donovan and one of Australia’s most revered rhythm sections, The Putbacks perform for one night only at Hawthorn Arts Centre.

The Putbacks’ describe themselves as Melbourne’s heaviest funk rhythm section and feature guitarist Tom Martin, drummer Rory Mcdougall, percussionist Justin Marshall, Mick Meagher on bass and Simon Mavin on keys. Matched against Emma’s optimistic, impassioned, and bruisingly honest lyrics the collaboration has won friends and admirers all over the world.
The performance will be approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including a 20 minute intermission. Boroondara Arts Bar will be open.
