Brunswick-based folk songstress Estelle Conley launches her shimmering new EP Different Kind of Golden at Cactus this April.
Against a backdrop of lush, striking folk inspired by The Staves, Gillian Welch and Alela Diane, Different Kind of Golden explores deeply personal themes of liminality, heartache and finding strength.
Known for her powerfully honest lyrics and magnetic indie-folk melodies, Estelle’s songs pull at the truth in your heart.
To create the EP, Estelle collaborated with Melbourne-based musician and producer Rowena Wise. Together, they have crafted a collection of songs that captivate from beginning to end.
Estelle will be joined by special guests Charlotte Le Lievre and DJ Salooney Tunes.
