Emma Davis has launched a modest yet impressive tour around Australia to promote her new self titled album. The tour began in Melbourne last month and has proceeded through Sydney and Canberra with great success. This weekend Emma takes her show to Brisbane at Brisbane Powerhouse and then returns to Melbourne for her final destination at Wesley Ann.
Emma’s latest album is a collaborative work with melodical entrepreneur, Brian Campeu. Her music is independent and self written, taking on a folksy quality that evokes nostalgia for her self confessed inspirations, The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel. Born in London, but a long time Sydney girl, Emma writes honestly about her relationships, sentimental moments and awkward conversations, drawing empathy from even the most cynical of us.
