Emanuel Ax plays Brahms and Schumann will mark the Australian premiere of Brett Dean’s Hommage a Brahms, a work interspersed with Brahms’ Opus 119. He will be joined by Chief Conductor Sir Andrew Davis for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4. These performances will mark Ax’s first with the MSO since 2008.
