What does Pause Fest offer? Pause brings together three industries: creative, tech and business. Pause plays host to some of the foremost digital trailblazers from around the world and creates a unique space in which creatives, corporates and tech heads alike come together to share and grow their ideas.
How do your teachings influence positive change? Pause is a community and industry-led event. Over the years, we have helped many startups and businesses connect, to do business together – some have scaled to different markets. Pause has been the catalyst for the innovation, uniting all industries.
What are you most proud of at Pause? Pause is turning eight next year and I’m super proud that it has become the fabric of a culturally diverse festival landscape in Melbourne. But I’m mostly proud on the social impact that we managed to deliver. After all, we are here to ‘empower creators’.
Describe to us a typical Pause speaker? A Pause speaker is a tech savant, digital manipulator, rule-breaker or troublemaker with a dangerous idea that will one day make a difference to the world.
What does the future look like for Pause?The future is looking very bright for Pause. We have a few new partnerships on the way and a whole new festival to create for 2018. If everything turns out the way we plan it, next year will be our most ambitious to date.
