Ecca Vandal runs amok in new single ‘Future Heroine’, locks in national tour

Ecca Vandal is a force to be reckoned with behind her lively pop-punk personality. Having already locked in slots at Falls Festivals around the country, the artist is back with some new work.

Vandal’s first release since Broke Days, Party Nights comes in the form of frenetic new track Future Heroine. In the foreground is Vandal’s bombastic vocality on full display as an industrial beat booms away putting you in a spin.

The accompanying video is equally primal, set in a dark green room-like residence as Vandal romps around in a threadbare wedding dress. Co-directed by Vandal and Melbourne-based filmmaker Amy Dellar of Indoor Fountains, the clip pins the artist against her ill-fated lover as they indulge in a jaunt of debauchery.

On top of that, the chanteuse will be heading on a whirlwind tour through November which’ll take her from Fremantle through South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland before capping off at the Corner.
