A ponderous electro-pop concoction from Ducktails (a side project for Real Estate’s Matthew Modine). Taken from the album The Flower Lane, Letter Of Intent is breathy, boring and overburdened with moving musical parts. The song needs less noise, less atmospheric eighties cocktail drama and way more of a hook.
