Train, the multi-Grammy Award-winning band behind hits like Drops of Jupiter and Hey, Soul Sister, will return to Australia and New Zealand in 2025 for their first shows in the region in eight years.
The tour includes stops in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, following the band’s extensive US tour earlier this year.
Formed in 1994, Train has built a devoted fan base over three decades. Their breakthrough hit Drops of Jupiter earned them two Grammy Awards and propelled the band to international fame. The track reached 12x platinum status on the ARIA charts and was followed by other hits such as Drive By and Play That Song, both achieving 2x platinum certification in Australia.

Hey, Soul Sister remains one of the band’s most iconic tracks, topping charts and earning 15x platinum certification on the ARIA charts. It became the most downloaded single of the 2010s, achieved RIAA Diamond status in 2021, and surpassed one billion Spotify streams in 2022. Train’s influence is evident across their 14 entries on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, 13 appearances on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks sold globally.
Joining Train on the tour is Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, known for her 2004 album Eye to the Telescope, which featured hits like Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and Suddenly I See. Jason Wade of Lifehouse will also perform as a support act, showcasing hits such as Hanging By A Moment, You and Me, and Whatever It Takes.
