Doomsday Festival Brings Metal to Melbourne

Doomsday Festival will satisfy your metal cravings.

When I say that Doomsday is coming to Melbourne, don’t be alarmed… well, not unless you hate music of the underground super-heavy metal variety.

Doomsday Festival, which debuted in 2009, will once again be plaguing Melbourne October 9, at the Northcote Social Club.

The festival’s headline international act, Acid King, promise to put on a show of epic proportions, with their music being described as, “Doomy as Hell.” With three albums under their belts, and a career that spans over seventeen years, these death metal rockers know their stuff.

Acid King will also be supported by a host of local acts, including Clagg, Looking Glass, Summonus, Sons of the Ionian Sea, Fattura Della Morte, Adrift for Days, Fear the Setting Sun, Mother Mars, VAN, Pod People, Space Bong, Agonhymn, Whitehorse and Encircling Sea.

Tickets are on sale now through Moshtix, and can also be purchased directly from the Northcote Social Club.
