Renowned instrumental hip-hop pioneer DJ Shadow has added an extra Melbourne date to his Action Adventure tour.
Presented by The Operatives, this additional show will take place at Northcote Theatre on Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
This announcement follows the overwhelming demand for his previously announced Melbourne show. DJ Shadow, also known as Josh Davis, has been a defining figure in instrumental hip-hop for over 30 years. His groundbreaking debut album Endtroducing… and collaborations with artists like Run the Jewels, Nas, and De La Soul have cemented his legacy as an innovator in the genre.

The Operatives will bring DJ Shadow to Naarm with an evening that promises to span his extensive and genre-defying catalogue, including highlights from his latest work, Action Adventure. This event will take place on Wurundjeri land of the Kulin Nation. The organisers acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and pay their respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
