Bringing his The Man From The East tour to Naarm/Melbourne, Diamond Platnumz will bring his signature Afro-pop to our city for night only. The Bongo Flava artist, singer, dancer and CEO of Wasafi records will be performing in Melbourne for one night only, on Saturday November 19 at 170 Russell.

Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, known better by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is one of the most decorated music artists in East and Central Africa. With the release of his first studio album, A Boy from Tandale in 2018, he amassed a huge following across the continent, being the first Africa-based artist to hit a total of one billion views on YouTube.

A highly decorated music artist, the Tanzanian-born Diamond Platnumz has been nominated and won awards across Africa, including three Tanzania Music Awards for his breakthrough hit ‘Kamwambie’ in 2010.
He’s known for his frequent music video collaborations with videographer Director Kenny, their video for ‘Waah’ was nominated for ‘best African Video at the 2021 All Africa Music Awards.
With the release of First Of All, his 10 track EP this year, Diamond Platnumz shows no signs of slowing down. Featuring top African artists like Zuchu, Adekunle Gold, Focalistic and more, expect to hear the killer tracks from First Of All when he appears at 170 Russell on Saturday, November 19.
