Who are we chatting to and what do you do in the band? Jesse Jones, I play guitar and vocals and Joel Hansen, I play drums.
What do you reckon people will say you sound like? Versatile, unapologetic rock music. Or as triple j’s Dave Ruby Howe says, chunky stuff.
What do you love about making music? It came naturally to both of us. We’ve been playing in bands since we were kids, we can’t not do it, what’s not to love?
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why? We’d love to go back to visit a young, angsty Bruce Springsteen at his family home, throw the P.Y.M EP under the needle and smoke camel filters while donning some hearty double denim.
What can a punter expect from your live show? Robust ruckus causing mania that packs a punch. We give our all in our live performance, whether we’re playing to Mum or 250 people, we love getting loud and sweaty, leaving no muscle dormant.
What’ve you got to sell CD-wise? We’ve pressed some nice little 7” double A-sides and also have the full EP available on compact disc.
