Dark Mofo 2014 will feature a large-scale public artwork by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer to light up the night sky; the City of Hobart Winter Feast at the waterfront with fire, music, and community; the MONA till Midnight open museum event; the Future Hobart: 2014 public space forum with Vito Acconci the Dark Mofo Films program exposing the dark heart of Australian cinema; more after-hours debauchery at Dark Faux Mo, plus performances, installations, exhibitions, and much more, all building up to the longest night and winter solstice with the annual Nude Solstice Swim to welcome back the light.
Some musical highlights feature performances from SUNN O))), EARTH, Veil of Darkness, David Lynch presents Chrysta Bell, Total Control, Kirin J Callinan, HTRK, Mykki Blanco and more.
