Wearing their Temper Trap-sized aspirations on their sleeve, Cotton Sidewalk’s impressive scope overcomes the gaudiness of anthem, narrowly avoiding sounding like Bon Jovi in autopilot. The singer has a set of pipes to behold, and the band have crammed plenty of tonal sustenance into the three and a half minutes. “Do something” isn’t exactly the most inspiring sentiment as a call to arms, however.
