It’s only one of the standout events Novel have on their radar. They’re heading back to Sub Club the next day (July 20), with crowd favourite Papa Smurf taking the wheel. A veteran in today’s game, Papa Smurf has been the heart and soul of the local underground electronic music scene for over a decade, and is now armed with a heavy catalogue of personal productions.

Then in September, they’re back at PICA, Port Melbourne’s monumental warehouse, bringing an array of international artists to the stage. Featuring an eclectic lineup spanning house, progressive, trance, UKG, and dark industrious techno, our latest edition promises a day filled with mind-altering grooves that will captivate every enthusiast.

The lineup is worthy of a 5,000 capacity venue: CARAVEL (FR), Cassie Raptor (FR), Claire O’Brien, DJ Swisherman (ES), Mordi, Ned Bennett, X-Coast (US) and Yazzus (UK). Plus, they’ve got Partiboi69 headlining a rave under a bridge in Port Melbourne in October.

Last but certainly not least, get ready for A3 Festival, Victoria’s major new techno festival launching in November with Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, Patrick Topping, Stephan Bodzin, X CLUB. and so many more.
