Along for every date are The Elovaters, a Boston band who have spent the better part of a decade turning a small club following into something much larger. Their 2018 album Defy Gravity went to number one on the Billboard reggae chart, and their catalogue has now passed 600 million streams. New record Shark Belly Motel arrived this year, after which they sold out a headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and joined Slightly Stoopid on the road.
Named after the naval base where the members met, Corrella put out debut album Road From 26 in 2023, and buried on it was the sleeper hit Blue Eyed Māori. That track has since logged more than 50 weeks at number one on the official New Zealand singles chart, the longest stint the chart has ever recorded. Second album Skeletons followed in November 2024. Rhythm guitarist and hype man Te Naawe Tupe fronts the group alongside vocalists Pipiwharauroa and Ngawaiwera Campbell, and the past two years have seen them share stages with UB40 and L.A.B. Latest single Not I gives them something new to road-test.
Tickets go to the general public at 10am local time on 9 October. Three presales run before that: the artist and Spotify presales both open at midday on 8 October, while the Live Nation presale kicks off two hours earlier at 10am. All three close at 9am on 9 October, so the window is short.
Live Nation is presenting the tour in collaboration with Loop and Select Music. Pack for the weather, because Geelong in January and Margaret River in February are two very different propositions.
