Cork & Canvas lands in Sydney

Melbourne’s sip-and-paint studio Cork & Canvas is bringing its boozy art classes to Sydney, with a new workspace in Darlinghurst.

Conveniently located across from a bottleshop, the new studio gives wanna-be-Picasso’s the chance to practice their art in a relaxed environment over a glass (or two) of BYO vino, and some snacks to match.

“Since we launched in Melbourne, we had really great response from customers. Instead of heading
to the local pub or bar, this gives people something different to do. It’s a great way to catch up with
friends and unwind. Opening our second studio in Sydney, we plan to grow the business and share
this unique experience with more Australians”, says founder Melinda Janiszewski.

The classes are open to anyone regardless of skill level (as long as you’re over 18) and are led by a resident artist to help you hone your technique. Equipment and glassware are provided, so all you need to bring are your own bevs and nibbles.

Sessions run from Monday to Saturday at 7pm, with Sunday afternoon classes at 2pm.
