The much-anticipated Coburg Night Market is returning this December, promising three days of entertainment, creativity, and diverse flavours.
Hosted by Merri-bek City Council, the event runs from Friday, 13 December, to Sunday, 15 December, at the historic Bridges Reserve on Bell Street, Coburg. Following record-breaking attendance in 2023, with over 29,000 visitors, the market is set to deliver another exceptional experience for locals and visitors alike.

Market highlights
The Coburg Night Market offers something for everyone, with a focus on local talent, sustainability, and family-friendly activities. Highlights include:
- Over 45 stalls featuring sustainable fashion, art prints, gourmet food, jewellery, and more, showcasing the creativity of local makers and artists.
- Family-friendly activities, including:
- Screen printing sessions with Troppo Print Studio.
- Badge-making workshops led by Freeza.
- Dance and storytelling sessions with Jackie Sheppard.
- A community choir workshop hosted by the Halo Vocal Ensemble.
- Collaborative art project, People of Merri-bek, led by local artist Ollie Rae, inviting visitors to contribute to a vibrant artistic celebration of the community.
- The First Nations Program, presented in partnership with the Mindful Mob Healing Market, offering insights into Indigenous culture through art, music, and storytelling.
- 27 food trucks, serving an array of cuisines from around the world, ensuring there’s something to delight every palate.

This year’s market boasts two live music stages featuring a mix of high-energy performances, soulful melodies, and family-friendly sets. Each day offers a unique lineup:
- Friday, 13 December:
- Propane Trio – delivering high-energy tunes to kick off the weekend.
- MAGNETS – a solo act blending indie and pop elements.
- Bad Bangs – known for their genre-defying sound.
- Saturday, 14 December:
- Small FRY – a family-friendly set from the Triple R favourite.
- Jemima Rae and Baby Blue – showcasing indie tunes.
- KOSMETIKA, Cong Josie and The Hellraisers, and Dragnet – bringing lively performances to close out the evening.
- Sunday, 15 December:
- Yara – captivating audiences with soulful sounds.
- Leo and MOZË – delivering standout indie performances.
- Wrong Way Up – bringing Afro-disco grooves to the stage.
- Halo Vocal Ensemble – stunning audiences with harmonious vocals.
