Catch a completely improvised murder mystery this month

Murder Village

It’s murder most foul. It’s the crime of the century. It’s Agatha Christie, improvised!

With no two shows ever the same, don’t miss Murder Village: An Improvised Whodunnit, a show full of murder, mystery and mayhem on February 25. With a run of sold-out shows at the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, a critically acclaimed improvised comedy experience that brings the world of 1950s Agatha Christie to life.

What you need to know

  • Murder Village: An Improvised Whodunnit is a hilarious, quirky and fun improvised murder mystery
  • With no two shows ever the same, the audience gets to vote on who lives, who dies and who the murderer is
  • It all goes down at The Butterfly Club on February 25

Check out Melbourne’s latest stage shows and theatrical events here.

Murder Village: An Improvised Whodunnit is a new whodunnit every performance, spun from the mind of Melbourne’s best improvising comedians. All the expected tropes of the genre are there and ready to be parodied – from mysterious and eclectic characters, to devilish red herrings, to clever clues and an amateur sleuth outsmarting local law officials.

You’re as much a part of the show as the cast – your votes via a secret ballot who lives, who dies and who will be unmasked as the killer. You can keep coming back, because no shows will ever be the same.
