Candice Breitz is best known for her 2005 production King (A Portrait of Michael Jackson) in which 16 ardent fans of Michael were invited to sing their way through Thriller. It was an expose of expression that was characteristic of Breitz.
Candice Breitz: The Character will see the exhibition of many of her works, including a new work. Breitz will be at the ACMI on opening night, being a guest speaker for In Conversation while on Friday December 7, Breitz will host a creative workshop for 13 – 20 year olds called Intermix.
