British soul icon Billy Ocean will return to Australia this September, bringing his catalogue of hits down under as part of the global One World tour.
The Grammy Award-winning artist, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his landmark album Suddenly with a special vinyl re-release, will complete an extensive UK run before heading to Australia for seven dates across the country.
Ocean, who was awarded an MBE and holds an Ivor Novello for International Achievement, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour. “I’m thrilled to get back to Australia – every time I come there, I’m welcomed with open arms. Can’t wait to see all my fans – it will be one giant party!” he says.

The tour follows a career revival that has seen Ocean return to the charts with both his Here You Are compilation and One World studio album. His impressive career spans decades of hits including Caribbean Queen (No More Love On The Run), which earned him a Grammy for Best Male R&B Performance, along with classics like When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going and Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car.
With more than 30 million albums sold globally and recent acclaimed performances at venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall and the Palladium, Ocean continues to demonstrate the enduring appeal of his extensive catalogue.
Ticketmaster and Ticketek presale begins Tuesday February 4 at 10am local time, with general public tickets available from Monday February 10 at 10am local time.
