BR x SM 2022 will deliver the first ever Australian performance for the convention-blurring techno producer and singer/songwriter Kelly Lee Owens. After the critical acclaim of the Welsh artist’s masterful sophomore album Inner Song, local fans will now get opportunity to hear her tough-as-nails techno backbeat and endlessly enticing sound IRL for the first time.

London-based HAAi will make a much-celebrated return to her Australian homeland after becoming one of the most in-demand DJs in Europe in recent years, regularly playing b2b with acts like The Blessed Madonna, Mall Grab, Midland and Daniel Avery. HAAi brings out the inherent psychedelic qualities in dance music with sets that feature rare records from around the world. You will get vibrant face-melters, big-room breaks, glitchy bass-heavy dancefloor bangers with playful samples inspired by her travels.

jamesjamesjames makes, in his own words “sexy Y2K techno music for anyone who is skinny, rich, blonde, a little bit bitch, or all of the above”. Based in Brisbane and now making noise the world over with half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, jamesjamesjames makes perfect house music. Expect catchy hooks and pounding basslines.

European-based Australian native Lauren Hansom bends music rules with oddball selections as she weaves through genres, eras and continents. For Lauren, music is endless and there are no boundaries in her exploration, this makes perfect sense as to why she has been released by Rush Hour, graced festivals and global streams and radio-shows.

Local selector-on-the-rise Darcy Justice has made waves since her swift transition from dancefloor to in-demand DJ. A Butter Sessions regular and Hope St Radio show host, she shines when the tempo is low and the energy is high, her one-of-a-kind presence shifts between R&B to rave, slow-mo-techno to soul.

A well-seasoned selector in Naarm, Bertie has a serious love for all things groovy, her sets span a piquant variety of genres not limited to disco, house, percussive stylings and deeper darker realms. She has cemented herself as one to watch globally (supporting Bradley Zero, CC:DISCO!, Leon Vynehall, DJ Koze) and expect a punchy, foot-moving journey.

C.FRIM bellows a massive sound, spinning drum-driven cuts that step, bounce, sway and shuffle. As a DJ she draws from her own singular blueprint. C.FRIM blends global club sounds that are urgent and forward-thinking, while evoking deep feelings of nostalgia. An artist and DJ with confidence in vision that champions her own refreshingly distinct style.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday 23 November @ 2pm (AEDT) via DICE (pre-registering available now HERE).
