How much bigger can their 30th anniversary get?
It seems like only yesterday Bluefest was sharing its first lineup in preparation for its 30th birthday. Even still, multiple announcements later, the news just keeps on coming.
Joining the lineup will be Tash Sultana, Six60, Ocean Alley and Amaru Tribe. Tash Sultana has leapt from busking to national fame in no time. Sultana’s debut album, Flow State, demonstrated her musical prowess, having played all 15 instruments featured in the record. Ocean Alley’s laidback vibes are the perfect fit for Bluesfest, and the boys will be heading to Byron Bay just after wrapping up a national tour in celebration of their second studio album, Chiaroscuro.
These four acts join the recently announced Saboteurs, Iggy Pop, Norah Jones, Nathaniel Rateliff and many more in what will be a 30th anniversary to remember.
