Fox has gained support from triple j, Spotify and Hype Machine since featuring on their Top Ten Now charts with his single Avalanche.
His new single Taste crosses between genres, with its pulsating beats and soulful vocals. It was recorded entirely at Fox’s home studio, mixed by Chris Collins (Tigertown, Gang of Youths, Middle Kids) and mastered by Steve Smart (Flume, Empire of the Sun).
The artist reflects on the significance of the song, stating that “Taste is really about only realising how much you needed something when it is gone. Taking things for granted is such an easy trap to fall into, so we need to be aware of the important parts of our lives and treat them with care.”
The accompanying video for Taste will come out in a few weeks.
