Kneecap — comprising Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí — has made waves with their innovative approach to music, merging satirical and socially conscious lyrics with a unique soundscape that shifts from ethereal Irish folk to bass-heavy dubstep.
Their latest album, Fine Art, exemplifies their creative evolution, departing from traditional music-making processes to construct The Rutz, an imaginative portrayal of a traditional Irish pub’s highs and lows. This genre-bending project captures the raw essence of their music and evokes a wide range of emotions.
Since their formation in 2017, Kneecap has made a significant impact with their debut project C.E.A.R.T.A, which candidly explores life in West Belfast. Known for their satirical yet poignant commentary, they have become prominent advocates for the preservation of the Irish language, earning them acclaim and recognition across the UK and Ireland.
Kneecap’s debut Australian tour promises to deliver a powerful mix of thought-provoking lyrics and dynamic performances, marking a must-see event for fans across the country.
