This year’s music program will feature Melbourne’s own reggae-ska ensemble, the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Kiwi soul singer Hollie Smith, as well as Sola Rosa, Stephen Pigram, Damien Dempsey, Barefoot Divas (featuring Australia’s most acclaimed female Indigenous singer/songwriters together with their sisters from New Zealand and Papua New Guinea), legendary Indigenous Australian outfit Coloured Stone, master of Ethiopian soul, jazz and world music Dereb The Ambassador and Melbourne’s funk-soul merchants The Cactus Channel.
This year’s program will also feature ARIA-winner and guitar maestro Jeff Lang, revered Indigenous storyteller Richard Frankland & The Charcoal Club, psychedelic country-western from The Twin Beasts (formerly The Toot Toot Toots), reggae outfit Sons of Zion, southern Italian band Kalàscima, Sweet Jean and cosmic cross-culture rock act The Cambodian Space Project. Also joining the above acts on the bill will be Knox, The Orbweavers, The Putbacks with Emma Donovan, Grizzly Jim Lawrie, Impossible Odds, Whiri Tū Aka, Stan & The Earth Force, Slip On Stereo, Maya Kamaty, Tjupurru, Admiral Fallow, Marcus Corowa, Mzaza, Mark Vanilau, Loryzine and Nahuatl Soundsystem.
