Scienceworks’ Discover The Night Sky series will feature four different Astronomy lessons, exploring a different part of Melbourne’s night sky, taking place on Thursdays in July and throughout August.
Backyard Astronomy opens the series on Thursday July 31 teaching you about all the things you can spot in the night sky if you know where and when to look. Solar System Discoveries delivers the latest news and discoveries from the spacecrafts that are out exploring our solar system, Colours of the Universe will give you the opportunity to peer through telescopes and discover what the eyes cannot see and finally Starlight, the new Planetarium film will premiere and a Q&A will be held afterwards.
