British comedy's tallest export Greg Davies is finally making the trip down under with Full Fat Legend.
The beloved Taskmaster host and Inbetweeners star has announced a run of Australian and New Zealand dates for his stand-up show, marking the very first time the 6ft 8in comedian has performed on this side of the world. Full Fat Legend is Davies’ biggest live tour to date, and follows the release of his Netflix special of the same name. Presented by Bohm Presents, the tour kicks off in Perth on 26 October before making its way across the eastern seaboard.
Davies has spent the best part of two decades building a reputation as one of Britain’s most reliably hilarious performers. Between hosting duties on Taskmaster and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, starring roles in The Cleaner, Cuckoo and Man Down, and a stand-up career that’s filled venues across the UK, he’s become a genuine household name in British comedy. Now, Australian audiences finally get to see what all the fuss is about in the flesh.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on 3 March at 11am local time, with a My Ticketek pre-sale running from 27 February at 11am through to 3 March at 10am (or until pre-sale allocation is exhausted). There’s a limit of 10 tickets per transaction, so round up the group chat accordingly.
For Melbourne punters, Davies will be performing at Hamer Hall at Arts Centre Melbourne on 2 November. It’s a fitting venue for a comedian of his stature — both literally and figuratively. Whether you know him as the terrifying Mr Gilbert dishing out detentions or the all-powerful Taskmaster dishing out points, this is a rare chance to catch one of British comedy’s biggest (again, literally) names on an Australian stage.
