I had hoped for a punk pop cover of the Limahl tune, but sadly no. Melbourne’s Apollo Pathway instead deliver this awfully ho-hum rock tune. Just rock – not spitting or savage enough to be called punk, thankfully not po-faced or melodramatic enough to be called melodic rock. They’re not going to offend anyone with this peppy little MOR hand-clapper, it’s just a little backward. Not bad for the great unwashed, I guess.
