Amanda Palmer goes Down Under.
She blew us away as part of The Dresden Dolls then embarked on a solo adventure that has warmed the hearts of fans world over, and now Amanda Palmer is bringing her incredible live performance to five shows Down Under.
“I have a special relationship with the Australian people. It was the first continent where Dresden Dolls landed and it was Beatlemania. I have a huge resonance with the place and the people. Plus I hate being cold,” Amanda says.
The New Yorker will be taking her ukele playing ways to Melbourne, Canberra, Byron Bay, Brisbane and Perth with a special guest that is yet to be announced. She will be playing all of her hits, starting with tracks from her debut solo album, Who Killed Amanda Palmer and more from her latest effort, aptly titled Amanda Palmer Goes Down Under, released in 2011.
