A pioneer of the punk, cabaret genre as both a solo artist and one half of The Dresden Dolls, Palmer has introduced the world to a brand of music that’s all whistles and no whimper. Palmer’s latest offering, Theatre Is Evil, is her first new studio album in four years and debuted at number 10 in the Billboard 200 charts. Working with a full band for the first time: The Grand Theft Orchestra, featuring Michael McQuilken, Chad Raines and Jherek Bischoff, the album was recorded in Melbourne.
