While Concert For George has already been documented in both CD and DVD form, it’s been announced that the live album will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl for the first time.

Concert For George features performances from Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Ravi Shankar, and former Beatle bandmates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, covering tracks from Harrison’s extensive catalogue from classics like ‘Here Comes The Sun’ and ‘Something’ to solo gems such as ‘All Things Must Pass’.

The concert will be available in a variety of different packages and formats, the most exclusive and deluxe edition of which is a box set including four LPs, two CDs, two Blu-Ray DVDs, and a 60 page 12″ x 12″ hardcover book. The package also includes a cutting of fabric from the original hand-painted tapestry used as the backdrop from the Royal Albert Hall concert, in addition to a letter from Olivia Harrison alluding to the fabric’s origins.

For those who prefer a portable, digital audio experience, Concert For George will also be made newly available on all major streaming platforms, with the same track listing as that of the vinyl.
