Speaking of National Youth Week, City of Stonnington have announced VIVA Youth Festival all in the name of celebrating youth culture and the important contribution young people make to our community. The Festival is packed with activities and entertainment such as skateboarding and basketball competitions, a dedicated dance stage, music, street art, workshops and activities, food stalls, prizes and even a mechanical bull. Head to Princes Gardens in Prahran on Saturday April 8 to celebrate how great the youth are.
Music Victoria is hosting their Membership Drive and you should jump on board. Music Victoria is a not-for-profit support network for everybody involved in music, offering things like professional development opportunities and discounts to its members. In the past year they have helped councils commit support for local music committees, launched the Live Music Professionals coaching program, sold out the Age Music Victoria Awards and heaps more.
