“Following the success of their ‘Beware Demise’ co-headline tour across the East Coast in 2022, Melbourne based Alera and their Brisbane counterparts Headwreck have reunited to bring their latest releases to audiences across the country. After exploding onto the scene with their debut EPs at the end of 2021, both bands have continued to refine their craft, releasing the conceptual double single we will never know why flowers grow through the pavement (Alera) and the Reflection Room EP (Headwreck); leaving a trail of sold out performances and tours with some of heavy music’s finest homegrown and international acts in their wake.
Alera’s cathartic post-hardcore is given form in a visceral live performance of emotively charged sing alongs and waves of crowd participation. Headwreck match this energy with their own electronically infused metalcore, tempering melody and aggression in an electric on stage performance. This August, both bands are set to bring their latest releases across the country with handpicked local talent as part of the ‘Cracks in the Reflection Room Floor’ Co-Headline Tour. “
