The second cut from Boys & Girls is another fine showcase for Brittany Howard’s dirty honey voice and her band’s raw Southern blues, but like Hold On it’s missing something in song structure. I Found You has the air of a loose jam session caught on tape, a partly developed idea that starts and ends abruptly and leaves you wanting just a bit more – perfect for the general swing of the record, but shy of a hit single.
