Additional presentations, workshops and a discussion on why Radio Caps must go will round out the comprehensive program.

A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition runs concurrently and brings American Association of Independent Music expertise to Australian shores. The combined conferences will host 24 sessions mixing panels, workshops and one-on-one meetings. Over 90 speakers from more than 70 different companies will participate across both events. This represents a significant expansion of the conference format and demonstrates the growing importance of independent music in the global marketplace.

The partnership with AIR Australia and support from the South Australian Government’s Music Development Office has enabled this first international Indie Week outside the United States. The conference concludes with a Music Industry Debate and closing drinks, followed by MusicSA’s Scouted showcase featuring emerging and unsigned talent from South Australia’s music scene. AIR’s invite-only AIR Awards ceremony will take place on 31 July at Adelaide Town Hall.

AIR members receive discounted ticket prices for the conference. The Sofitel Adelaide serves as the preferred hotel partner, offering discounted accommodation rates for delegates using the booking code BGPG.

Adelaide’s designation as a UNESCO City of Music provides an ideal backdrop for the conference. The city’s vibrant music scene and cultural infrastructure make it a natural choice for hosting such a significant industry gathering.
