Acclaimed stageplay ‘Love Song’ makes its return to Melbourne

Love Song was last shown at the MTC in 2008 and now it returns for Melbourne Fringe.

Presented on three stages in a single room, the audience is the centrepiece – positioned on rotating chairs as the play revolves around them.

Taking up the entirety of one building at the Collingwood Arts Precinct, the play is embellished with the live compositions of Melbourne musician, Grace Ferguson. Ferguson is armed with a theremin and a number of other instruments to create an alluring soundscape.

The play is intended to challenge the way we process change when we’re enveloped by routine – how we avoid harsh truths when the tough questions are asked.
