Melbourne's live music scene is getting a major boost with the launch of PERSA, the newly refurbished band room at the iconic Perseverance Hotel in Fitzroy.
This venue has been transformed into a state-of-the-art 380-capacity live music space, marking another milestone in the ongoing creative revival of Brunswick St.

Located in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant areas, PERSA is set to become a go-to spot for both local and international acts. The venue now features a brand-new stage, PA, and lighting system, designed to deliver top-notch performances. In addition to live music, PERSA will also serve as a late-night event space, hosting DJ nights until 3 am.
As part of its launch series, PERSA will be hosting an impressive lineup of shows in the coming months. Notable performances include local legend Kim Salmon with his new project Smoked Salmon, emerging indie sensation The Vovos, and Loretta Miller, who will be launching her new single. The launch series will also feature bands like The Pinstripes, Neon Goblin, and Freud & The Family Solution, who will be celebrating their album release.
PERSA’s bookings are managed by Social State Entertainment’s Kit Atkinson, with support from industry veterans Braydon Ritson, James Power, and Phoebe Le Brocque. Their combined expertise promises to make PERSA a standout venue on Melbourne’s music map.
