After touring with Polish Club and joining the New World Artists roster, DIET have just released a brand new single ‘Danny Boy’ today and are setting off on a massive national tour this May.
The new single – already a live show favourite – is a passionate rendition of a interstate phone call between two brothers; a strong third single following the ode to the tradition of streaking, ‘Clothes Off’ and heartfelt love letter, ‘Take Me’.
‘Danny Boy’ keeps to DIET tradition with nostalgic synthesisers and playful guitar riffs, paired with a carefree lyrical style.
In 2017 the band achieved spot rotation on triple j for the first time with their release ‘ Take Me’. Bringing back the synth and playful guitar lines, ‘Danny Boy’ is a passionate plea which shows the band expanding their horizons.
DIET are setting out on a huge tour starting with billing at Melbourne’s Cherry Rock Festival on May 5.
