1. Every video we produce is filmed in one continuous shot. No cuts or second angles. The reasoning behind this is to give our audience a real sense of being live in the room as if they were standing right in front of the performance. It’s always about the experience and capturing the true vibe of the performance
2. The name Loops Live came from the fact we filmed the first ever video with the artists placed in a circle. Wish there was a more interesting story on that one.
3. Arrangement of songs are thought up only 20-30 minutes before the actual live performance you see online. Usually the song is run through two or three times.
4. The whole project happened completely by accident after a spontaneously being invited to a jam session. The camera rig we film on was purchased the day we filmed this session and we had no prior experience with it. We loved the feel and experience it gave off and officially organised the first official Loops Live session the following week.
5. The core ethos of Loops Live is about helping developing and upcoming artists. We are more about the artist actually having the musical ‘chops’ over whatever their popularity may or may not be. We understand not all artists are great at selling themselves or have the money to produce this kind of content privately. This is where we step in and balance the equation by offering a video channel/platform that is at zero cost to the artist.
