Sikoti brings Glasgow hard techno to Melbourne Pavilion this NYE

Words by staff writer

The countdown to 2027 is getting louder and faster, with Hit NYE Harder bringing Glasgow’s Sikoti to Melbourne Pavilion.

Hit NYE Harder comes from Nerve & Stamina, the team behind the weekly Stamina nights in the Banana Alley Vaults at 375 Flinders Street. On 31 December they’re leaving the century-old tunnels for something far roomier. Melbourne Pavilion gets a full festive production fit-out for the night, with space for more than 2000 people on the floor.

Sikoti arrives with more than 12 million streams to his name and a catalogue spread across Hekate, Taapion, Teletech and KTK Records. He’s had a release on an A State Of Trance compilation curated by Armin van Buuren, the Dutch trance figurehead who has hosted the radio show of the same name since 2001. Teletech, the UK hard techno brand, also connects him to Brianna Baxter, who joined its Australian tour in 2026.

In April she went straight from Ultra Australia to headlining Stamina’s Saturday residency. Her festival appearances also include Beyond The Valley, Hypersonic and Aura Music & Arts Festival. Along the way she’s supported a long list of hard techno names, among them 9×9, Only Numbers, Oguz, Nico Moreno, Azyr, Fantasm and Stan Christ.

Tickets drop in two waves on 5 November. Pre-sale sign-ups are open now and get first go at 11am, before general sale kicks off at 7pm.
