South Florida R&B artist Jenevieve is heading to Australia and New Zealand for the very first time this June.
Presented by Live Nation, The Crysalis Tour will bring Jenevieve to venues across Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane throughout June. The Melbourne date lands at Fitzroy’s The Night Cat on 8 June, with tickets for all four shows already on sale. It’s a run of smaller rooms built around close-quarters energy and atmosphere.
Jenevieve first broke through in 2020 off the back of Baby Powder, a single that spread rapidly online and introduced her warm, genre-blurring sound to a global audience. Raised in South Florida, her music draws deeply from her Cuban and African American heritage, fusing analogue-leaning soul textures with left-field production choices. Her debut project Division and follow-up EP Rendezvous, both executive produced alongside songwriter Elijah Gabor, established her as one of the more distinctive voices to emerge from the contemporary R&B space in recent years.

An analogue artist at heart, Jenevieve’s creative world extends beyond her recorded output into a wider visual and atmospheric space. Her live performances have earned a reputation for immersive staging and sonic detail, pulling audiences into a self-contained experience rather than simply running through a setlist. The venue choices across the tour reflect that sensibility, favouring rooms where the connection between artist and crowd can feel direct and personal.
Division demonstrated her ability to weave vulnerability into cool, carefully constructed arrangements, while Rendezvous took a looser, more adventurous path without sacrificing the emotional honesty that first drew listeners in. Working alongside Gabor across both releases has given her catalogue a cohesive, intentional feel, even as the sound itself continues to shift and evolve. The Crysalis Tour offers the first chance for fans in the region to experience that evolution up close.
