The High Country Hop returns to Beechworth from 27-29 March, transforming the town into a weekend celebration, with Melbourne's Floodlights in tow..

Beechworth is gearing up for another massive weekend of fresh hops, killer tunes and local flavours. The High Country Hop rolls back into town from 27-29 March 2026, marking eleven years of celebrating the Victorian hop harvest with a lineup that’s looking tastier than ever, especially thanks to Melbourne locals, Floodlights.

Bridge Road Brewers founder Ben Kraus is back at the helm, steering this regional weekender into its next chapter. What started as a beer festival has evolved into something that properly connects people to the High Country – the farms, the makers, and the community that gives this region its character. Expect independent brewers, winemakers and distillers alongside a stacked music program that runs all day.

Melbourne’s Floodlights are bringing their intense live energy to Beechworth, headlining a music lineup that covers serious ground. Joey Lightbulb’s party-starting sets sit alongside garage punk crew Public Figures, soft rock mastermind Way Dynamic, Afro-boogie pair Wrong Way Up, and broadcaster Fee B-Squared spinning throughout the day.

Food and drink across the weekend shines a light on North East Victoria’s producers. Local wineries, distillers and food operators will be showcasing what the High Country does best – craft and seasonal produce with serious regional flavour.

Friday night kicks off with Brunswick East institution Rumi taking over the Bridge Road Brewers beer garden, slinging Middle Eastern party food to get things started.

Beer-wise, this year’s roster is stacked. High Country Brewery Trail regulars Bridge Road Brewers, Bright Brewery, Crank Handle Brewing, King River Brewing, Mountain Monk, Last St Brewery and Mitta Mitta Brewing Co are joined by Blackman’s Brewery, Bodriggy Brewpub, Capital Brewing Co, Philter Brewing and Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. Special guests Stone Brewing are flying in from San Diego to pour festival favourites alongside limited fresh-hop drops you won’t find anywhere else.

Saturday’s main event at the Historic Precinct Reserve keeps things family-friendly with activities for everyone. Box Wars workshop makes a comeback, music runs all day, and the whole vibe is relaxed picnic-style hanging.

The High Country Hop is presented by Bridge Road Brewers, sponsored by Hop Products Australia and backed by the Victorian government.
