The Wild Horses Festival is set to return from 6 to 8 December 2024 in Carapooee West, VIC, bringing together electronic music, art, and a spirit of collective enjoyment.
Known for its intimate and unique experience, the festival is capped at 2000 attendees, offering fans a more personal connection to the music and surroundings.
Celebrating its seventh edition, Wild Horses Festival aims to foster a space where attendees can freely enjoy the festivities within a safe and respectful environment. Festival organisers emphasise the importance of respecting both the natural landscape and the local community. Attendees are encouraged to leave no trace, with organisers providing bins throughout the venue to help keep the site pristine. The event also supports the local economy, urging visitors to patronise nearby businesses in St Arnaud and Stuart Mill.

The 2024 festival lineup brings together a mix of international and local talent, showcasing a broad spectrum of electronic music styles. Highlights from the international roster include acts like Bayawaka, Dekel, Egon’s Embrace, Etnica celebrating their 30-year anniversary, and Pleiadians. Australian talent will also be well-represented, with artists such as Ben Wild, Ebony Willis, Lunar, and Slipstream adding a local flavour to the lineup.
The festival will also feature visuals by Delta Process and Visumotus Interactive, with a stage designed by Toggles. According to organisers, Wild Horses Festival is “from the people, to the people,” fostering a community vibe that aligns with its core values of freedom and mutual respect. All attendees must be at least 21 years old, with proof of age required at the gate to comply with local council permits.
