As Here Comes The Sun gears up for its fifth year, the festival has become a fixture in WA’s cultural landscape with seven successful events under its belt. The 2024 expansion into Torquay is a testament to the festival’s laid-back coastal charm that has captured the hearts of music lovers.

Both festival dates are strategically aligned with two of Australia’s premier surfing competitions: the World Surf League Margaret River Pro and the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach in Torquay.

Macro Music, the creative force behind events like Out Of The Woods, Good Day Sunshine, and Sugarloaf Rock, as well as a decade of artist management, proudly presents Here Comes The Sun. Born out of the need for a world-class event in the Margaret River region, the festival has delivered top-tier artists, including Tame Impala, Amy Shark, Crooked Colours, ShockOne, and many more, to the southwest.

Leading the charge for Here Comes The Sun 2024 is Australia’s psychedelic-surf-rock sensation, Ocean Alley. With a decade of sold-out shows across the globe, including spots at Splendour In The Grass, Reading & Leeds (UK), and BottleRock (USA), Ocean Alley is set to bring their mesmerizing sounds to the festival. Their fourth album, “Low Altitude Living,” released last year, further solidifies their status as musical trailblazers.

Melancholic maestros, Ball Park Music, are set to serenade the crowds with their chart-topping hits. Ruby Fields, the silky-voiced singer-songwriter, will bring her unique blend of haunting solo performances and cyclonic full-band attacks. Jack Botts, with his genre-bending masterpiece “Sucker For Sunsets,” promises a musical journey through the highs and lows of real life.

South Summit, WA’s indie reggae marvels, will provide the perfect soundtrack to a coastal summer, while Clews, the sibling powerhouse, channels ’90s anthems with grungy melodic power. With nominations for Triple J Unearthed ‘Artist Of The Year’ and impressive performances at Groovin The Moo, Falls, and Rolling Sets, South Summit is a band on the rise.

Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday, December 8, at 10 am local time, and can be snagged from www.hctsfest.com
