ander up and down the iconic Acland Street, peruse Fitzroy Street and pop into all the local watering holes that St Kilda has to offer throughout the weekend. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the streets of St Kilda and discover some undiscovered gems, all the while enjoying the best blues live music.

“Live music is in St Kilda’s DNA – so the Blues Festival is a great way of supporting local venues and musicians,” Mayor Louise Crawford said before this year’s iteration. “We’re very grateful for the sponsorship from Fitzroy Street Traders Association and Acland Street Traders, and City of Port Phillip,” added founder Gavan Breen.

“New Orleans-style street parade gets a lot of attention, people love it. 70 gigs over the weekend across 20-plus venues with over 30 acts, and loads of street performers – this will make for a very exciting weekend in St Kilda. We’re a not-for-profit organisation and the main reason why we created St Kilda Blues Festival is to bring people together, St Kilda’s precinct and boost the support for local venues, bars, businesses, community and create a fun weekend in St Kilda. Music everywhere for everybody.”
