The Cut Copy brains trust has rounded up a tasty selection of “Melbourne’s new dance culture” for a compilation entitled Oceans Apart, a smart move, aiming to encapsulate even just a portion of all the good shit goin’ down in this fair city. The first taste comes from rhythmic collective No Zu, emerging from semi-dormancy with the joyously horn-laden Raw Vis Vision. It’s a jam, irresistible in its build of groove, shades of Parliament’s Chocolate City bubbling underneath the surface.
