Adelaide garage rock four-piece The Aves recorded this spectacular meh moment in Brooklyn. I know this because it’s the opening tidbit of their press release. Mentioning this biographic detail has the same affect as saying ‘The most interesting thing about this band is that they were once in Brooklyn.’ In fairness, judging by their music, that probably IS the most interesting thing about them.
