You can smell the rhyming couplets in The Water In Your Blood from a mile off. It wouldn’t be so bad if the perpetually harmonised hushed one-two between spousal lead duo Grant and Wendy Regden didn’t make me want to clean my ears out with an icepick. It’s like if the lead singer from Silversun Pickups never lifted his voice above a whine. The warbled synth-like tones are a little bit Fabulous Diamonds, but there’s not much else worthwhile here.
