4hr Parking are celebrating their debut EP with a big night at Brunswick Ballroom

Words by staff writer

4hr Parking are throwing a party at Brunswick Ballroom on 7 February to celebrate their debut EP release.

After a massive year of writing, recording and gigging across Melbourne, 4hr Parking are ready to let loose with the launch of their debut EP, On Wellington St.

The local outfit has pulled together a lineup of mates to help mark the occasion, with Ethereal Gone Kids, Lalu and Sugar Gum all joining the bill for what’s shaping up to be a proper celebration.

4hr Parking

  • 7 February
  • Brunswick Ballroom, Melbourne
  • Doors 7pm, show starts 8pm

Check out our gig guide here.

The EP explores the highs and lows of life and love that the band experienced during their formative years together. It’s a record born from hopeless optimism, a collection of dodgy microphones and the kind of friendships that make anything feel possible. If that sounds like your kind of energy, this is probably your kind of night.

The support acts are promising plenty of shredding, and the band themselves are guaranteeing big tunes, mosh pits, dancing and probably too many beers. It’s a standing-room gig, though limited seating will be available on a first-in-best-dressed basis for those who need it.

Brunswick Ballroom’s kitchen will be open from doors, so you can grab a feed before things kick off.
